I'm Back...Freebies and New Set

Hello Everyone!! I'm back!! Have you ever started so many projects at the same time you can't get any of them done? Well that's exactly how I feel. I started teaching ESY last week, and let me tell you, my late nights of staying up making items is cut short....those little munchkins wear me out!! I have finished a super cute beach/ocean themed set. I love the colors and sunny elements.

I was asked to create numbers that match the Let's Get Hoppin' classroom set. These are frog numbers 1-32 that match the set. These stand alone as sequencing cards in a pocket chart or as a fun concentration game for matching and naming numerals.Frog Numbers 1-32Well that is all I have for today but I am currently working on 3 more sets: Owls, Bugs, and a Carolina Blue Tarheels. If you follow my other blog Joy of Kindergarten I am also working on my monthly Kindergarten Homework Packets. The September Homework Packet will be loaded on August 1st!!

New Set...Freebie....Sale....and a Shout Out

Yahoo Magoo!! I finally got that blue and red polka dot set finished. I have absolutely no clue why I was having so much trouble with it. It turned out being 120 pages long, gadzooks that is a lot! I added something new to this set, a visual index. I thought this would make it a lot easier if there were only certain pages you needed to print.

Happy 4th of July and Winner Winner!!

Well today was so very hot as I am sure it was for many of you. Not living near the ocean here in Ohio this is the closest we have to a beach....

So we go here. It is a lake about 25 minutes away at one of the State Parks. It's clean and fun and the best price: free.
Did I say the blue dot set would be done today...well gadzooks it isn't. I've been making all of my own backgrounds recently. I am so glad I figured it out so I don't have to worry about licenses and all but the downside is I am still on the slow side. I will have it done soon...maybe tonight.

I used the handy dandy number generator and the "Winner Winner Chicken Dinner" is number 11.

BEE Happy: Classroom Design Collection

I finished my yellow 'BEE' Happy Set tonight and it turned out to be 100 pages. It's very bright and sunny! I am now truly contemplating putting up all new bulletin boards. I really love the yellow and how it is so bright and inviting. I keep a super tidy classroom and I like it to be visually appealing. I always give away one free set every time I make a new one. Introducing My New Blog!

I have decided it is time to branch off with my Classroom Design Collections. I am adding sets so often my blog is feeling like the Sunday newspaper circular instead of a place to share ideas. If I could afford it I would make everything I create a 'freebie' but times are tight at our house and the money I can make off of Teacher's Notebook and Teacher's Pay Teachers have allowed me to pay a few bills, and we are extremely appreciative! I will continue my Joy of Life 2011 blog but it will focus more on things I am doing in my classroom. And yep, I will also continue to give away one set free every time I add something new.
